This cabochon of Starburst Stone is a deep yet bright blue with gorgeous patterns. I have this one wraped in 14K Gold Filled Wire. Starburst Stone is a man made product, created from natural minerals and other natural ingredients. It is heated in a furnace at approximately 2500 degrees. It is an attempt to recreate the Victoria Stone-a product originally created by Dr Iimori of Japan. Starburst stone on the other hand, has been created in Perth, Australia by John Bennett and Artur Birkner.
