This cabochon of Morado Opal has gorgeous patterns. Morado Opal is found in Central Mexico. "Morado" is the Spanish word for "purple". Some common opal with a purple base color produced in Mexico has been given the name "Morado Opal". These regally colored gems are a unique member of the opal family with their all-natural colors varying from spirited deep violets to bright lavenders, many with fascinating patterns of white throughout the cabochon. The copper bracelet setting has heart designs on each end of the cabochon. It also features and easy close clasp. It's oxidized with liver of sulpher then polished with renaissance wax.
