I have this deep purple cabochon of Lepidiolite wrapped in a unique copper setting. Lepidolite has small flakes of mica visible in the purple stone.  It occurs in sparkling masses around pink tourmaline crystals. It is rich in lithium, which is what lends it's beautiful color. Lepidolite is a stone of calm, trust, and acceptance. It is extremely useful in the reduction of depression as well as stress. It is used to halt obsessive thoughts, and relieves despondency, as well as overcomes insomnia.
