This cabochon of Horse Canyon Agate has gorgeous patterns with a glass like polish. This highly sought after Horse Canyon Agate is from Tehachapi, CA. The agate beds were mined heavily in the 1960’s. This area is now closed to the public and is basically no longer available. This material has gorgeous light to dark green mossy strings throughout the translucent chalcedony, aka agate.
