This cabochon of North Ridge Plume Agate has gorgeous patterns. I have it wrapped in oxidized copper that I polished by hand. North Ridge Plume Agate is found in the Owyhee Mountains of Eastern Oregon in the Graveyard Point area. It is a nice hard agate that takes a high gloss polish. Plume agate inclusions form when iron oxide, manganese oxide, or other oxides are present during the rock formation process. This material is mined by Steve Schultz. Plume agate is said to produce powerful positive energy, which encourages kindness and generosity.
